National Pay
Commission neglected the professional group
working in Agriculture and Livestock sector
National Pay Commission neglected the
professional group working in Agriculture
and Livestock sector with reference to
increase in pay and facilities. It will
affect adversely the development in green
sector.
Already Agriculture and Livestock sectors
have badly been suffering regarding poor
service structures and minimum facilities,
It is unbelievable for a common observer
that for such a long time these officers
have been denied promotions, even after
twenty years. Please focus your attentions
on these important issues which are directly
related to agricultural development in our
country. If National Pay commission failed
to provide incentives like increase in pay
and allowances than these professionals
working in the sector than all the claims
regarding agricultural development will be
baseless and false.
* In 1972-72, Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali
Bhutto for the first time upgraded the pay
scale of Agriculture and Livestock
Professionals.
* During the year 2008-09, President Zardari
and the Prime Minister of Pakistan
introduced different projects in Agriculture
and Livestock sector worth millions of
rupees. Majority of these projects are
supervised by the government people, If they
are neglected and deprived from facilities
than this will create frustration and
corruption.
Please launch a campaign in all over the
country for best service structure and whole
some pay to livestock and agriculture
officers, working in government sector. This
is the most appropriate time for conveying
our interests, as the report of the Pay
Commission will be finalized in March.
